The gema gun I have has the ground attached to the machine. Is it better to use this ground or drill a hole through the cement and drive a grounding rod in instead?

The grounding cable on the gun is an extra ground for the gun and
not
meant to ground parts with. I would definitely use a ground rod. If you have any more questions just let us know.
