Hey there all. Did you know that there's an easy way to touch up hook marks and get an exact color match? Simply sprinkle a little of your powder on a piece of cardboard and mix a small amount of thinner or another solvent with it. Apply with a small paint brush or foam brush. The solvent becomes the catalyst which cures the powder. A few hints: DO NOT put this back into the oven to speed up the cure on the spot. It WILL "solvent pop" or blow small holes in the coating as the solvent is driven out. If you can't wait the few minutes for it to air dry, you can try a hair dryer on the "LOW HET" setting. Another hint is DO NOT DO THIS ON A LARGE AREA. It works great on small spots but will look bad on large areas as the powder will not flow out. Hope this helps! Joey |
