  I'm really sorry for the delay in answering this.  Our system is supposed to notify when we have a question, but it's apparently not working correctly.

  Wire mesh or metal with holes drilled in it are probably the most common way it's done.  Cardboard doesn't work because of the grounding issues but the mesh seems to work well.  It's a little labor intensive, but you should be pleased with the quality.

I haven't tried this myself with PC but when I've painted bolts, I punched holes in a piece of cardboard and pushed the bolts through. I used a backing piece offset from it to keep the bolts at the same level. For powder coating, cardboard won't do. How about a piece of sheet metal with enough holes for a batch. Make the holes larger than the largest bolt, lay foil over the holes and push the bolts through the foil to hold them and maintain the connection. You could build a shallow box with the holes on top and a solid back to set the depth. Maybe even make it adjustable for varying lengths.

祁有音二话没说，急忙找来纸笔递给父亲，又找了一块垫板，看着父亲将证明写好。父亲还想说什么，祁有音说天不早了，早点休息吧，父亲便心有不甘地又躺了下去。

父亲睡下后，祁有音看看时间，离天亮还有五个小时，她必须抓紧时间休息一下，天一亮她又要赶到长水村去，把父亲写好的证明送给念虎。

躺在床上，祁有音却怎么也睡不着，眼前总是晃动着苗花、念虎和学校里那些孩子好奇的眼神。那几间破旧的教室，风一吹会不会倒？祁有音忽然想要是能给长水村募一笔资金盖座学校，那意义可就非同寻常了。可这事，该怎么操作呢？……

车窗玻璃降了下来，露出了王心宛的脸。小巧上扬的鼻子，薄薄的粉红嘴唇，吹弹可破的肌肤。二人都有些意外，也有些尴尬。对视两秒钟后，郭醒世低下了头，欲离开。他苦笑了笑，说：“我要挣生活费……”

王心宛拉开车门，下了车。她不由分说地拉着郭醒世，说：“走，到我家去洗个热水澡，看你这一身灰。全国人民今天都在家里团圆，欢天喜地过大年。你到我们家去过年，我们全家欢迎你。”

小轿车在鸣笛，催促着王心宛。王心宛扬了扬手，要司机开车先走。她伸出双手，执意要帮郭醒世分担肩上沉重的担子。郭醒世拒绝了，加快了脚步。

王心宛一边上气不接下气地小跑着，跟在郭醒世的身后，一边喊着：“醒世，你慢点，注意别闪了腰……”

放下肩上的担子，把砖整齐地码好后，郭醒世想回工棚里去。可是，王心宛却坚决要求郭醒世到自己的家里去。实在无法回绝，郭醒世只好跟在王心宛身后，去她家里。

原来，王心宛的家就在不远处的省委大院里。省委大院壁垒森严，大院门口有威武的武警战士守卫。郭醒世像《红楼梦》中刘姥姥进了大观园，不敢挪动脚步。二人刚进一座独门小院里，王心宛朝一位中年女人喊了起来：“阿姨，这是我的同学郭醒世，我请他到咱家来过年，他家在海岛，寒假没有回去……”

被王心宛称作阿姨的是她家的保姆。保姆阿姨的目光很诧异。正在迟疑间，一辆小轿车开了过来。

一位干部模样的人走下车来，恭恭敬敬地向王心宛问好：“春节好，心宛，给你们全家拜年了……”

王心宛很热情地跟来人打着招呼，说：“市长叔叔好，我代表我爸爸给你们全家拜年！”被称为市长的来人看了一眼郭醒世，目光中充满了疑问。

保姆阿姨见状，赶忙打圆场说：“是这样……领导家下水道堵了，机关管理局派了个维修工来给修一修。”

郭醒世顿时觉得仿佛被人猛击一掌，一腔热血直往头顶涌来。他猛地一转身，逃也似的跑开了。身后传来的，是王心宛和保姆阿姨的争吵声。

蒙受羞辱的郭醒世跑回了工棚，挑起担子，又去搬砖。他有意加重了担子，担起了比正常时候多一倍的砖，机械地往复着。他只能以这种方式，发泄着自己心中的愤怒。

天傍黑时，郭醒世拖着沉重的脚步，回到了工棚。王心宛站在工棚门口，用那乞求原谅的目光注视着郭醒世。

“请你走开，大小姐！”郭醒世冷冷地说道。

“醒世，请你原谅我家保姆阿姨。我知道，她的话刺痛了你的心，伤害了你的自尊，我替她向你道歉！”王心宛很真诚地说道。

郭醒世没有回答，两眼注视着脚尖。

“醒世，我是来给你拜年的。”王心宛恳求道。

郭醒世什么也没有说，低头走进工棚，鞋也没有脱，一头钻进破棉被里。棉被是回乡下老家过年的民工的，破破烂烂，已分不清什么颜色了，并且，气味很难闻。

王心宛脱掉了鞋子，也跟着钻进了郭醒世的被窝。

“醒世，我带来饺子和菜，还有一瓶酒，几件我家警卫班战士的旧军装。还有五百元钱，是我给你的压岁钱。”王心宛继续说道。

郭醒世看着王心宛的眼睛，说：“王心宛，我虽然贫穷，但同样拥有正常人的尊严。我拒绝你的施舍和怜悯。”

“醒世，我必须告诉你，我对你的情感很纯真。作为同学，我们之间是平等的，我同样需要你的尊重。”王心宛说。

停车场的旁边是个月亮门，李明轻车熟路地领着他们进了月亮门，在那个穿中式便服男人指引下进了一个房间。房间里的家具都是古香古色，墙上挂着涧溪认不得的一些从石碑上拓下的古文，和房间不协调的是房顶上一盏豪华的欧式水晶灯。

大家让高澎湃坐主座，高澎湃说我不坐，谁请客谁坐。李明坐到主座，依次是高澎湃，涧溪，刘中放，何申。涧溪本不想坐那里，大家一致要求涧溪挨着高澎湃坐。坐定后一个穿中式服装的青年给大家上了盖碗茶，打开盖后，有*枸杞红枣等一些东西，青年拿长嘴大铜壶向杯中倒水。这时涧溪发现有个虫子在杯里，就急忙说：“给我换一杯。”大家说：怎么了？涧溪说：“好像有个虫子。”青年说：“不会吧。”何申、李明和高澎湃就伸着脖子看，看后，两人就大笑起来。大家都莫名其妙地向杯中探望，然后也大笑起来。涧溪自己也仔细看了看杯中，那个虫子已被水烫死了，仍然漂在杯中，自己没觉得好笑，只是觉得反胃恶心。这时李明收住笑声对一脸茫然的涧溪说：“那是一种名贵的药材，冬虫夏草。” 涧溪这时脸已涨得通红，很为自己的少见多怪不好意思，但还是不能接受，她说：“换一杯吧，我害怕。”

接下来的菜，看着普普通通，味道口感却是一般酒店不能比的。菜量不大，加上凉菜总共八个。菜上齐后，早先那个在门口穿中式便服的男人进来，一抱拳，像个古时的侠士。李明站起来对侠士说：“底先生，我给你介绍一下，这是我们老板，也是自家大哥，高行长。” 底先生就端起一杯酒敬高行长，嘴里说着：“久仰，久仰。”李明接着说：“这是我们行的才女，也是我的好妹妹小章。”底先生说：“才气和美貌集一身，羡慕，羡慕。”李明说这两位你都认识了，我就不多嘴了。底先生说：“我们也要干一杯，加深一下印象。”然后又说，“我就是给咱自家兄弟姐妹提供个地儿，自己家干干静静，没有生猛海鲜，家常饭,大家不嫌弃，欢迎多来坐坐。你们慢慢用，我就不打搅了。”说完就出去了。

何申说：“底先生为人低调，他的菜是宫廷菜，他太爷爷是慈禧玉膳房的，可惜他爹死前没有把所有把式教给他，就让红卫兵破了四旧。这个人还真是个人物。”

刘中放却不认可：“他净说好听的，那天我带省行的人来，他硬是没让进门。一个开饭店的还怕人家吃饭，整天把门关得死死的，让人以为是赌场妓院呢。”

李明忙解释道：“他每天最多准备四桌，要提前预订，这也不是谁预订都行，人家说只有自家兄弟也就是会员才接待。”

高澎湃打断了李明的话说：“下回别来了，什么会员不会员的，都是你们捧的。现在我们的客户我们要当上帝对待，我们好不容易享受一回当客户，还要当孙子，哪儿不能吃饭。”

李明挖了一小勺菜放到高澎湃面前的碟子里：“我的老兄，你品品，在国宴上未必有这么正宗的大锅菜。人家是真有东西呀，你就看眼前的这杯茶，十六种药材，当年他太爷爷给慈禧上了，得了千两白花花的银子呢。”

高澎湃吃了一点，点了点头：“菜是没问题，就是太牛了，让人不舒服。”

何申挥挥筷子对大家说：“吃菜，吃菜，今天运气好，这几个都是招牌菜。”

这时刘中放接了个电话，脸色不是很好，对高澎湃耳语了几句就提前走了。李明要送，刘中放说：“不用，你们再呆会儿，我给司机打电话，让他来接我。”

刘中放走后，高澎湃刚上来的食欲好像又消失了，他皱着眉头说：“上主食吧。”李明就出去说主食的事情。回来后李明说：“春天到了，贷款营销取得了开门红，你当时说完成营销任务就要请我们旅游的，你可不要反悔呀。”

高澎湃有些不在意地说：“可以，只是附近没有什么可去的地方。”

李明建议道：“周六我们去趟五台山吧，我前些天和你说起的那个隐师父这几天在。”

Hey all, I am working on a couple big projects.  One of them has numerous small pieces and a lot of them are bolts.  I have silicone caps that I am putting on the threads but wrapping a wire around the silicone does nothing for the ground.

 What I had to do is bend the bolt around til just a corner of the head was touching the hanger.  This works but leaves mark off and was ok for the 2 bolts I have.  In the future we are talking about 200 bolts at a time.

 Any suggestions on a good efficient way to coat a lot of bolts at the same time, have the threads covered, maintain a ground, and have no markoff on the bolt heads?

Joey,Do you have a good source for replacement cartridge filters? I have been trying to find a good source and have a few emails out there awaiting response and a local company but I want to make sure I am getting the best possible price. I am looking for filters in a 52" height. There doesn't seem to be alot of information out there. I do have a local guy who said he can order them but again, can't I go straight to the source?

  I do seminars in Nashville, TN about 9 times per year.  Almost monthly, but we do skip November, December, and normally July for holiday purposes.  This is the only actual hands on class designed for the beginner/intermediate coater that also covers marketing, job costing, OSHA, etc.  We average training over 300 people per year and the class has been running strong for over 8 years.

  Do keep your eyes and ears open and watch the website (www.powderx.com) for the dates for 2012.  There is a strong possibility that we will be touring a few cities with a variation of the class.  Trying to finish out the details as we speak.

  Unfortunately, that is a question I can't quite answer for you.  When you mention cartridge filters above the exhaust, I'm somewhat confused about your design.  Normally, your booth will either have cartridge filters followed by HEPA final filters, or it will be a blanket filter, pocket filters, and finally HEPA final filters.

  The difficulty in answering your question is because of several factors.  How the manometer reads is dependent on booth design, manometer design, placement of the manometer, etc.  My suggestion is to contact the booth manufacturer and have them send in a representative to show you how to interpret your manometer readings.   Sorry I couldn't be of more assistance.

 I have come to trust only your advice on matters related to powder coating. Everything that I have applied in my shop from your recommendations have worked and that is fact. Reading through the different forums and all of the different questions and answers has really brought my shop to the next level. Our company would eventually like to expand and start bringing in custom work. There are so few seminars held anywhere around Phoenix, Az. that I can locate. I would like more then anything to be able to attend a seminar on the application of powder coat to further my knowledge. Are you aware of anything happening in the Phoenix area any time in the near future?

 Thanks for taking the time to read and respond to all of these forum posts. My question pertains to booth pressure. We have an open booth (three walls and ceiling) built by AFC. I am wondering if you could tell me the ideal manometer reading for this type of booth is? I have just replaced the cartridge filters above the exhaust stacks and didn't notice any change which is currently around 1.5wc. I am wondering if it is time to swap out the interior booth filters which are coming up on two years old. We purge the system regularly and use a slap hammer type device at the end of each shift to lossen the powder up before final purge at shift end but it seems as though the air flow is becoming less and less. I know the manometer can tell me when the filters are ready but what is my baseline?
